The First Tee is reliant upon charitable contributions to carry out our mission and is grateful to receive widespread support from those in the golf industry and beyond. A fundamental strength of The First Tee is the direct support it receives from some of the game’s most respected and influential organizations. Their leadership has inspired others to embrace the mission of The First Tee.
Community Foundation of Tampa Bay Critical Needs Grant
A huge thank you to the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay!!! As many of you know we lost our 14-passenger van to the hurricanes this past summer. Due to that, several of our inner city school programs have had to be put on hold as there is no transportation for those young kids. Thanks to the Community Foundation’s Critical Needs Grant they awarded us for $10,000 we’re one step closer to getting a new van which will get us back on track with our programming needs. We still have a little more to raise to get there but we’re well on our way. Thanks again Community Foundation of Tampa Bay for continuing to be a bright spot for First Tee – St. Petersburg and many other non-profits in the Tampa Bay area
